The Building Register delivers the most comprehensive, FREE-to-access database, listing over 350,000 construction industry vendors, including contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, searchable by town, county and trade categories.

Thousands of vendors have subscribed to become full Building Register members, disclosing comprehensive details regarding their financial probity, health & safety and insurances, plus additional valuable information.

Fully verified Building Register members can be identified by the green traffic light next to their listing. Vendors currently completing their disclosure to become full members are listed against an amber light, while red designates vendors yet to apply for full membership.

Independent verification of subcontractors and suppliers within the Building Register has been conducted in association with the National Federation of Builders and their Construction Accredited Performance Standards Scheme (CAPS) and the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), the industry’s leading body carrying out independent assessments of company health and safety policies and procedures.
