Causeway's Building Information Modelling component adds dynamic and automated measurement to the pre-existing functionality of CADMeasure.

By enhancing CADMeasure's core functionality, BIMMeasure addresses many issues debated between specifiers, contractors, engineers and end users. By enabling a greater degree of transparency, BIMMeasure provides a platform for discussion and contribution about the entire life cycle of a building, including the following:

BIMMeasure enables users to incorporate multiple modelling and drawing files in a single session, whilst being usable alongside other components within the CADMeasure suite. By highlighting relevant areas, users can also easily locate and access specific properties of individual components. Linking BIMMeasure to other modules in the CATO Cost Consultants' suite allows costs to be planned simply and effectively, whilst a wireframe options display further simplifies the scheduling of measurements and items grouped by description.

This centralisation of information into a single model simplifies the exchange of information between parties, bolstering understanding, improving cost and time management and minimising unforeseen costs and delays.
