Causeway win Team of the Year in Green IT Awards

At the Green IT Awards ceremony held at London Zoo last week, Causeway was presented with the Team of the Year Award.

Members of the Causeway professional services team received this award for two critical projects with Wolseley UK and Aggregate Industries. These utilised the Tradex solution to expand paperless invoicing services and, to add to the challenge, both projects went live at the same time. The Professional Services team is responsible for providing support and assistance during the implementation, training and ongoing use of Causeway applications.

Wolseley UK is the UK operating company of Wolseley plc, the world's number one distributor of heating and plumbing products and is a leading supplier of builders' products to the professional market. By delivering electronic invoices to its customers using Tradex, Wolseley was looking to improve customer service, sustainability and process efficiency. This formed part of a wider Wolseley strategy to enhance eBusiness services and offered flexible options for Wolseley customers as to how they wanted to receive their invoices.

The Aggregate Industries project allows the growing family of “trading divisions” that are part of Aggregate Industries, to be able to process their invoices through Tradex. The implementation of ‘multi-sender’ functionality within Tradex allowed more invoices to be sent electronically and for more customers to be able to receive and process these without the need for paper. In addition to the environmental benefits, this also helps save time, money and improve process visibility for both Aggregate Industries and its customers.

Both projects involved a complex set of connection types and functionality and required close communication throughout the preparation phase. We worked together to meet the needs of our customers and employed the latest integrated technology and support services to ensure these projects achieved the desired results. This award reflects the high level of service we continually deliver to our customers”.
