Ringway tackles Highways Works Management with Causeway Project Accounting
For the Ringway Group, Causeway’s delivery of a Highways Works Order Management solution has produced real benefits in terms of cost efficiencies and client transparency – as well as helping them win more business and boosting staff morale.
The Group, whose clients range from Highways Authorities and car park operators, to schools and residents’ associations aims to improve the nation's transport network by delivering quality products and services.
Reliance on an outdated OTS Works Order Management system, with widespread inefficiencies, was costing Ringway time, money and clients. Staff were having to re-key data in multiple systems and manually reconcile due to insufficient interfaces with a SAP system, resulting in problems with accuracy of management and client reports.
Causeway has a long track record providing Works and Cost Management solutions to contractors operating in the Highways Maintenance sector and has delivered a flexible and highly capable solution for Ringway on time and on budget - in just eight months. Causeway Project Accounting suite encompasses a full Highways Works Order Management suite and this was adapted to integrate fully with Ringway’s SAP Financial Accounting system. Implementation, with full staff training, was carried out across the entire Ringway business, serving 300 users at 33 sites.
